We have set up www.shootingleague.net and when you try to register it sends an email saying that your registration is pending. However, admin approval is turned off.

The confirmation email also is not sent out to the new user, hence they cannot confirm their account.

When they try to log in again without confirming email, it says a further confirmation email is sent but the only email sent out is the pending email (even though admin approval is not needed!)

if we click on re-send confirmation it sends the pending email again.

It's okay, we figured out what's wrong.

Turns out that our Pending Email is not properly set up with the [CONFIRM] link! Doh!
