Maybe one of these days...

I just updated a J1.5.26 project with CB 1.8.1 and all PRO addons. PRO features not in real use, except for privacy, file upload.

My client noticed that he missed registration notifications. And I checked it today with some new test users. AFAIK, he is right, but I don´t know what the cause is. Here my experiences:

- New registration Emails are sent to the user itself.
- Also tried the resend confirmation in backend, it does work.
- The confirmation in user email does also work.
- file upload does NOT send any email with EMPTY recipients field, but it should send them to CB moderators. If I enter an adress manually it works.
- i do NOT get any ADMIN email

Any other users with email issues out there?


EDIT - SOLVED!
Simple as that: The hosting environment requires a valid and physical email account. Its not possible to use an email ALIAS for the register/sender Email in CB configuration. I created a special email adress for the register process. Works fine now.
