CB-Subs “error from subscription to user’

Hi

This is a cross-post from the CB-Subs forum “error from subscription to user’ where I’ve not had a reply to my post (#208557). As noted, I’m unclear what to do to workaround this problem (#3663).

I don’t understand

“That bug appeared only in backend when "Display" tab of promo was non-default”

My promos all have
Override plans display: No, keep plans display as is
Which I take to be the default setting – but I still have the problem

Nor do I understand

“not specific plans were chosen in promos first tab.”

Is this the ‘basic’ tab?
And does “not specific plans” mean that
To which plans this promotion applies: is set to -- Applies to ALL Present AND Future Plans -- ?

Please can you advise specific settings to work around this problem.
Do I have to change all my promos to have specific plans ‘to which this promotion applies’?
Will that be sufficient?
Or do I need to do something more or different?

IF you use custom display for promotions (last tab), you need to specifically select to which plans the promotion applies in the first tab of the promotion.

That's a bug of 2.0.2, fixed already for upcoming 2.0.3.

As noted in my posts I do not use custom display, so it would appear that I have another problem.

Please still try to specifically select to which plans the promotion applies in the first tab of the promotion.

There might be other reasons that setting gets evaluated.

If problem persists after that please reply (in all cases). Thanks.

OK, I changed all the promotions to specifically select to which plans the promotion applies in the first tab of the promotion.

This seems to have fixed the problem (no more fatal errors)
