2 things might go into your way here:
1) Make sure browser pop-ups are not blocked.
2) Make sure folder permissions and ownerships are allowing installations

Initially browser popups were denied, however I have allowed popups in Firefox from that domain, which allows the new windows (the 404 pages mentioned) to open in a new tab.

As far as permissions, not sure what you mean. After clicking continue, it shows that the installation was successful at the end of the process. It just seems to stall on those 2 items and pop up a 404 page with "component not found".

AH, ok, thanks. We will look into why those 2 which don't have a 2nd step are trying to get one.

Anyway, as package is installed correctly, this support issue can be closed here for now.

ok. It says at the end that the process is successful, but does this mean that those 2 items that are looking for a second step are also installed correctly?

Yes, I think so.

You can easily check if they are installed by accessing them in the administrator area.
