Cannot create menu items correctly

Cannot create menu items correctly was created by oorzaak@oorzaak.nl
I installed CB1.8 on a J2.5.4 site. I created 2 CB menu items: Profile and Logout Action. After that, every type of CB menu item I tried to create or change was marked a Logout Action item in the Joomla menu-item type field. Also the parameters in the right column stayed as they were.

I noticed that the link (left column when creating a Joomla menu item) did change. So I tested the menu items on the site, although they seemed not correct or half-correct in the back end. On the front end this 'half-succesful' situation was reflected. E.g. I can view my own profile but I cannot view a list because this menu type lacks the id of the list, necessary for displaying.

I de-installed and re-installed CB several times, this made no difference.

Other Joomla components are not affected, this is a CB issue only on this site.

I hope someone can help me.

Kind regards, Frits

Please study the readme included with the CB 1.8 package.

I see. The problem is, I've created more than one user list, each with its own selection criteria. Because of this issue I cannot choose which list to display from a menu item: all menu items display the default list.

Go to the CB user list you defined.
Copy the link in top of screen, labeled: URL for menu link to this list:

Then Add a menu item in Joomla! > External URL
type "./" without the quotes and copy the link so you'll get: "./index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=usersList&listid=4"

Maybe there's a better way, but this one did it for me.
