It all looks fine on our DEV server... applied to LIVE server just now, and functionally, everything seems to test out OK.

BUT

CB Plugin Manager shows all the CB plugins looking correct.
however...

CB Tools: Check CB plugins database: Results
shows the vast majority of plugins black
"no database or no database description"

only 5 of about 40 are showing green (most are green in the DEV server)

Is this a bug I can ignore?
Is there a quick fix?
Should I roll back my live server right away?

Any advice would be very much appreciated...

PS: I should point out that they all seem to be WORKING - I can go into Plugin Manager and open up plug-ins and configure them...

did some more forum digging, found a post (in German) that seemed to conclude its a side effect of either PHP version, or MySQL version...

Indeed, I have a similar situation, slightly different PHP/MySQL versions on my DEV server (I didn't think it would be an issue, but...)

My DEV server (where everything is green and shiny)

Database Version 5.0.95
Database Collation utf8_general_ci
PHP Version 5.3.25
Web Server Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS)


My LIVE server (where the Tools report is showing mostly black)

Database Version 5.1.69
Database Collation utf8_general_ci
PHP Version 5.4.19
Web Server Apache

So.. what's officially supported??? Both? Neither?
Can't find "CB prerequisites" anywhere obvious on the web site here...

CBSubs manual says:

• PHP version 5.2.4 or better. CBSubs™ GPL 3.0 has been tested on latest PHP 5.4.x version.
• MYSQL version 5.0.4 or better (version 5.1+ recommended)

PPS: I guess I should mention that my DEV server was freshly CLONED from the live server just before I applied the 1.9.1 update... and I updated the LIVE server within 2 hours of updating the DEV server (after I tested as much as I could)
So it's not like there is anything out of sync...

I guess this thread could be moved to "potential bug"...

What a day ... Joomla 2.5.16 update, CB 1.9.1 update - and just when I got through all that - I noticed the GOOGLE RECAPTCHA BUG... puzzled over that for an hour, thinking it was due to one of the other two updates... was very pleased to find out OTHERWISE!

Incidentally - I upgraded MySQL on our 'dev' server to 5.5 (needed to bump it up in order to do a Kunena upgrade) - and now I find the same "all black" ("no database or no database description") tables report. This in a 100% up-to-date healthy Joomla 2.5.16 installation... so I guess its just a bug in CB Tools
