Hello! I recently downgraded from Joomla 1.6 to 1.5 in order to allow access to certain features. I noticed that I'm no longer able to assign specific permissions--i.e. all registered users can add an article, etc.

I tried to resolve this by making the default for new members publisher. HOWEVER, there are still a lot of annoying things that I have to manually select--i.e. when a user wants to change their image, for some ungodly reason they need administrator approval. Is there a way to fix this without making all users administrators? Thanks in advance!
