Hello
There is a post going on Advanced/Professional Members - Forum where I can not (yet) post :
ajax email checker
So I do it here :
I installed 2 days ago the very last version of cb and encounter a similar same issue :
email checker is desactivated in configuration and yet when creating or updating a user profile - I get then the "Could not check this email: Please double-check: Needed for confirmation" message even if its a valide and existing email adresse - saving of profile is possible
I tried to apply the Quick fix proposed in the quoted post but the lines are allready commented
So there are tw0 questions :
How can I really desactivate the mail verification ?
If not desactivated, how can I hide - descativate the "Could not check this email: Please double-check: Needed for confirmation" message ?
Thanks !

you cannot - backend will always have it.
But it shouldn't stop you from saving backend users.

Yes, but the issue is that however you can save the profile anyway, it lasts some seconds to actually save it.
I´ve installed CB some days ago, and I have to upload info of about 300 users.
That minimum delay of waiting the ajax email checker to let you continue, will kill me.
If there´s a solution, i´d really apreciate it!!!
Thanksssss!!!

Yes _ I also would appreciate if thereis a solution to bypass the check so I will not have the waiting delay when charging all the user data
