[SOLVED] CB Article Tab wording was created by davidashurst77

Hi,

How can I alter the wording that appears if there are no article published, on the article tab. It currently reads: "This user has no published articles".

I have tried to track down the php file for the wording which appears, ie: cb.authortab, but can't find the wording on the file.

Which file do I have to edit, or can I change the wording using the CB settings?

You install the English language plugin and change the language string.

Hi,

I've installed the English language plug-in in CB.
It's installed
Default language (English)
and
english

Which one do I use?
I need more specific helps please in how to change the language string on the Article Tab (cb.authortab)

Looking at the articles tab you should see: _UE_AUTHORTAB in its title.

This is the string you want to change in your language file.

You can of course just directly change it in your tab and write whatever you want.

If your language is English this is ok.

If you have a multi-language site then it is best to keep the language string as the title of the tab and modify its translation in all you language files.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, but it wasn't the question I was originally asking.

I know how to change the title of the Articles tab.

I want change the wording "This user has no published articles". This wording appears on the actual web page, in the articles tab.
There is no setting to change this (that I can find) in the CB settings. I wish to know what source file (if any) that I will have to edit, to achieve the change of wording.

My original answer to modify language string was correct.

Download the English language plugin for CB 1.f from our forge:
forge.joomlapolis.com/projects/lan-cb-en/files

Edit the language.php file using any text editor.
Find the string:

DEFINE('_UE_NOARTICLES','This user has no published articles.');

Edit it to your liking and save changes -rezip and install/publish as a CB plugin.
