I'm using the Noir template and amended the CSS a little to suit my site template. I want to display the 'All users' dropdown listbox to all users when composing a message but when I do, the dropdown listbox displays on it's own without any label so the users will not know what the dropdown list is for. On the example picture of the Noir template in the forum it shows the dropdown list with the 'show users' link and a 'contacts' label for the dropdown below it. Which file can I amend to add in a label for this dropdown if it has been missed from the template?

Well, the text is there but its black text on a black background. So you have to change the CSS a bit.
You can find the correct attribute e.g. using the web developer toolbar for Firefox.

Could you be a bit more specific please regarding which part of the CSS I would need to change. I have been using Firebug although I'm a novice but I can't seem to find the part of the CSS which means the text is being output as the same colour as the background.

Well, usually this is not my job to design other people web sites, but afaik its
