I found that my problem was users putting the ( ' ) apostrophe character into their image names when uploading images into the Gallery. Check those and let everyone know if that was the issue.....

When I removed them the problem went away....

After looking at the source of a few failed scroller attempts it appears that the apostrophe is indeed the cause of this problem.
