The trouble you are having with the table prefix sounds like your 'forum directory' is not set correctly (or you don't have a $_SERVER variable...

Make sure the 'forum directory' does not start or end with a slash, and make sure it is based on the website root

i.e
Site = www.yoursite.com
Forum = www.yoursite.com/folder1/forum
Forum Directory = folder1/forum

Can either or you look at the php info screen from within the Joomla admin screens? Copy the text to another post if you would...

Fixed Chadcham issue...

his server did not have a $_SERVER variable... so I hard coded it by adding this line in there and commenting out the other line...

$pathparts = explode("/",'/home/xxxxx/public_html');

both phpbbconnector and phpbbgui files... Let me know if there is any other problems

Thank you so much! Why would I not have a $_SERVER variable? Also, would it be OK for me to turn off RG_EMULATION again?

I have used this plugin on 2 other sites, and I continue to feel it is the best CB plugin out there.

Some servers, particularly IIS (Windows) servers do not always set that variable... not sure why...

You should be ok with turning the RG_EMULATION off... as long as you are using 1.0.3 or 1.0.2 with the patches needed...

I've tried 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 and I get the same results.
