I am trying to install CB 1.1 in a Joomla 1.5 site. The first step is to install comprofiler.zip as a component. When I try to do this I get the following error:

* Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

Warning: zip_read() expects parameter 1 to be resource, integer given in <path>\libraries\joomla\filesystem\archive\zip.php on line 235

Warning: zip_close() expects parameter 1 to be resource, integer given in <path>\libraries\joomla\filesystem\archive\zip.php on line 251

Unable to find install package

Seems that an XML file cannot be read (found?) or closed. System-Legacy is turned on.

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually I did download the zip file and then unzio'd it to het the 2nd set of zipped files. I then read the readme file and the pdf file for installing this version of CB that I downloaded separately.

My post indicated a Joomla version of 1.5 - that would be 1.5RC

I started the component install first as the readme and pdf files suggested. Since I am not upgrading anything, that was the first action after unzipping the larger downloaded zip file.

That is when the errors occured as I stated.
