GD Version bundled (2.0.28 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPG Support enabled
PNG Support enabled
WBMP Support enabled

ensured the tmp directory is writeable

am using cb1.1 on joomla 1.5RC3

I have the same problems, I changed the server that joomla was running on and i lost the image. So know no-one can register.

I have not modified any code, i have the same files no difference, but I have two behaviors.

I'm using Joomla 1.0.13 and CB 1.1

Any idea anyone, is this a path problem or server environment or php environment.

I wanted to try the captcha 2.0 to see if i had the same problem, so I subscribed to the joomlapolis subscription service, I removed the captcha 1.0 and installed the captcha 2.0.

When i selected registration i got a blank page, i guess it shows some errors. But i can not change display_error so i have no clue what is wrong.

The Captcha works perfectly on Joomla 1.0.13, the issue I was (and still have) is on Joomla 1.5RC3.

You need to check your php install and ensure that GD2 is installed... more than likely your new host only has gd1 installed OR they don't have the newest GD library compiled into your php... (this seems to be common).

without that GD2 library... captcha wont work.

there are a few good threads in this forum that outline exactly what you need to look for in your php to ensure captcha will work.

sorry I couldnt be of more help.

You need to comment out the line that tries to load globals.php.
