Portrait Image Upload Failure

Portrait Image Upload Failure was created by vilo
I noticed when uploading portrait images, old ones are not being deleted from comprofiler dir under Media Manager in Joomla. As a result, when I try to upload new portrait image I get following error.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4800 bytes) in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/www/traderhood/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/imgToolbox.class.php on line 381

This error remains present until I go to Media Manager in Joomla and delete all previously uploaded portrait images. Then it allows me to upload new image.

It seems to me the problem is that comprofiler is not deleting old portrait images when new ones are being uploaded. Once the directory reaches limit I get white page with error above.

Is there anyone out there who has a solution to fixing this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

Nope - your assessment is wrong.

should help you fix your problem - if you cannot change the php.ini setting ask your host to do it for you.
