If you have time to test in these next days, don't reply here but join the new testers of cb testteam by simply PMing Trail (djtrail) now.

Hopefully soon the current tests will be done, and it will be too late for this round. :)

Fabs,
I will try to take a look at those "IYHO bugs" for beta build 3, due very soon now. Don't wait for that or make this a condition, getting acquinted with testteam area takes also some time, and CB 1.1 is moving fast, expecting next build to be enough tested to be productions-site ready, and probably only one more candidate build before final. :woohoo:

PrivacyPolicy has not been tested with CB 1.1

Due to the fact that it is a wrapper and most of the people do not understand this, it is expected that some upgrades will be problematic. As a clean install, there should not be any issues.

I will post update instructions for Privacy Policy once cb 1.1 is released.

Would the CB 1.1 Version work with those plugins or have there been any significant API changes that would require a rewrite for plugins?

CB 1.1 API is backwards compatible with CB 1.0 API, so CB plugins using the CB API will stay compatible.

This is the case for the majority of plugins, but certainly not for all of them.

Registered CB 3PDs are already part of cb testteam, are receiving the emails when new builds are comming and have access to the testteam builds and forums in time to test give feedbacks, bug reports, and adapt if needed.

Asumming is the mother of all f*ck*ps :(

The PM i sent you, said you could find more info on the testteam website as soon as it is available. Lots can be learned from reading previous testing rounds and the general areas.

Did you read the forums there?

If you have any questions, post them there.

Please don't mix the testteam and joomlapolis forums.

I will make it very clear RIGHT NOW that my first assumption is that I'm joining a "community".

If the first response I receive from an Administrator is to be cursed at, I can very quickly "unjoin" the community.

The very reason I made this request was so that I could discover the appropriate channels of communication... ergo the request. The fact that you sent me a PM hours after I made these posts doesn't give you any basis to "blast" me as though the PM you sent me "arrived" before these posts were written. Frankly that's a little Jeckle and Hyde.

Yes... I did browse the forums here and searched them also for about 20 minutes. That's all the time I gave it as with most other Admins, I have plenty to do. I will also assume that you are far more familiar with the content here than I am. Given that assumption, I will further assume this "knowledge" may factor into your arrogance and considerable condescension toward me.

I will remind you (as this somehow seems lost at present) that I came to give my time, my effort and my contributions to a component that is a cornerstone of Joomla development. I appreciate the time and effort that everyone here has put into CB. I will respect the team in that context.

I suggest to you DJ that n00bs are not dirt, they're simply new. And every one is the future of our projects.

I certainly hope they receive a warmer welcome in the future.

May I suggest that a more appropriate response might at least consider that "I asked for this information so that I could communicate through the appropriate channels".

Thank you for providing that information.
Sincerely,
Mark Raborn
