Installation problem was created by nectarios
Hello, this is the second time I have tried to install community builder and again have had no success. (I have tried in the past with previous version of joomla as well)
I am using leopard, firefox 3, joomla 1.5.9. Joomla is a clean install, there is nothing else installed.

When i go to extensions to upload on my localserver (using MAMP - php 5.2.6) the com_comprofiler.zip the only thing that happens is a white blank screen, the component wont install.

Any ideas anyone.
Thanks

I've had the same problem. Fresh install of Joomla 1.5.9, FF3 & Safari, php 5.2.5. Any help would be much appreciated.

Ask your hoster. Each hoster has a different process.

Ok, The MAMP logs are in Application/MAMP/logs.

My problem looks to be a memory limit. After goggling php memory limit, I came up with this article: www.ducea.com/2008/02/14/increase-php-memory-limit/
