Ok, after many posts here and many failed attempts to migrate my users, I am now working directly from the site itself.
I have 2300 or so users in the system. The majority are currently disabled in user manager.
775 of them are "active" (or enabled) and recognized in CBSubs as active users -- NOT SUBSCRIBERS YET
I need to get those 775 into the CBSubs system by SEPARATING them from the other 1000 or so who are not currently members (their log-in is blocked at this time)
DOES IT MAKE SENSE .....
for me to
1. change GROUP status on the 1000 "blocked" (disabled) users to PUBLIC FRONTEND ONLY
So that I can
2. Directly IMPORT (via CBSubs Import) the 775 REGISTERED users?
Seems that what happens is "Public Frontend" forces the subscription option on any user who attempts to log-in ... which is fine, I think?
Just checking to see if this makes sense as it would be MUCH easier for me than the various csv options I've failed at thus far
THANKS
