The odd thing (at least to me) about this is if I refresh the page it works (kinda) and I get this message:

A receipt for your purchase will be emailed to you by PayPal once processing is complete. You may log into your account at www.paypal.com to view status details of this transaction.
Thank you for subscribing. Your payment is pending so your subscription will be processed once the payment is received or verified.
But it says the payment is pending so obviously the payment did not actually get posted to the website.
In addition, no notification emails are being sent to the test user or me (admin)at all.
