I always appreciate the help and guidance you offer since although I consider myself pretty competent on joomla, my full time job is running a large division that does a lot of things, including having programmers and others building software applications for me. My joomla programming supports my hobby. That said you guidance had me start testing components and plugins. Further testing found that if i reduced optimization with jch-optimize it corrected the problem I am still looking to see if K2 or the template have a jquery issue, but this at least solves my immediate crisis.
