Problem with ACL and acymailing plugin

12 years 2 months ago #191191 by fribse2011
Problem with ACL and acymailing plugin was created by fribse2011
J2.5.1, CB 1.8RC
I've gone and modified my tab's so they use the ACL level now, instead of group.

I have an ACL level structure as this:
Public
Registered
Club Member
Medieudvalg
Bestyrelse
Speciel

In my case I'm member of Bestyrelse.

I've set up quite a few of the tab's to require Club Member.
As far as I can see, most of the tabs appear, I have to go through them again to see if I can find a pattern.
But one thing I'm sure of is the acymailing plugin doesn't appear.
Is it a ACL problem, or a plugin problem?

Best regards
Fribse

Make sure the acymail CB plugin is published to Public in CB Plugin manager and same for any tabs it creates in CB Tab manager. I believe this is a small bug that will be fixed in next CB 1.8 RC2.

I made sure that the plugins are all public, and I've also tried setting the tab to public, and I still do not see it, so it could be a problem with 1.8 and Acymailing plugin?

If all you plugins and tabs are public, then the issue is most likely the plugin itself and not CB.

Ok, darned, they told me they don't have access to the RC, so I guess I'll have to wait :-)
