Fatal error: Call to a member function getTemplate

When I try to add a New Article, I get the following:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getTemplate() on a non-object in /nfs/c01/h13/mnt/11778/domains/siteaddress.com/html/plugins/editors-xtd/cbfieldinsert/cbfieldinsert.php on line 31

Are there any considerable consequences if I delete the following lines from the file (views\quote\view.html.php):

$template = $mainframe->getTemplate();

and

$this->assignRef('template', $template);

Or, should I do something else? Is it OK to ignore it (since I do have maximum error messages on)?

Looks like you have a plugin for your editor that is causing this issue.

No idea.

Make sure you are using JCE as your default editor and see if warning goes away.
