We have a problem that several of the members in one association that we develop a site for have accented characters in their email addresses. That is becoming very common in canada. The main characters are éè. What can be done about that?
Note the specification - we are talking about accented characters in the local part.

Does Joomla support it?
Did you test?
Did you test CB also?

Yes, you cannot enter emails in straight joomla with an e with an acute accent in the local part of the email address. You also cannot add such an email address in the cb admin interface.
