keep members from using symbol in username?

what can I put into "Authorized Input" so that members do not use a symbol in their username? it throws off the URL to their profile page.

CB 2.3, CBsubs 4.3, PHP 7.1, J! 3.9.X

regex expression to only accept chars and numbers?

Sorry i am not really a regex person, but i assume any of the google searched websites has such default expressions you can borrow.

maybe just add these into the forbidden field (?)

didn't work but I did see this as one of the optioins which does work. You may want to use this as default since when people user their email as their username, admins cannot click on their URL since it has an "@" in the name. same for when people use a dash.
