The JFBconnect thing is not going to be disabled, its the facebook connect that is used by the Joomla Extenstion directory so if there is a problem its with community builder for j 1.7

www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/

Im also using a fresh download from the community builder website so it should be the latest version that you have there version 1.7.1 i belive.

Its a problem with Communtiy builder i assure you. Besides ive already trouble shooted it by disabling all other plugins and it still happens.

Main problem occurs after a user has created a new account when they try to view there profile we get the following errors unless i manually sync the database.

  • This user has not yet confirmed his email address and account!
This user has not yet been approved by a moderator!

  • Also despite being disabled its sending out an email requiring pending approval with no hyperlinks in the message.

Give me instructions to replicate behavior on a clean Joomla 1.7.3 / CB 1.7.1 website (without anything else) and I will investigate.

    you serious???

I already gave you the details of how to replicate it.

Community builder was one of the first extentions i installed on a clean joomla atomic site.

Think ill go and buy jomsocial. Support here is awful.

    Yes.

I could not replicate this on a clean J173/CB171 environment. This is why I asked for detailed instructions to replicate from scratch, with just Joomla and CB.

You are free to spend your money as you like.

Regarding support your posts here have been addressed in a very timely manner (and polite). Wishing you get better support elsewhere.

If you can replicate on a clean environment (I am betting you cannot) with just Joomla and CB, I will escalate the issue internally. As I mentioned before, I cannot replicate.
