Expiration email question

Thanks for that, I'm planning to update CB Subs this evening to the latest version, I'll implement this at that point.

The cron task on mine does seem to be running so I'm wondering if there is any other reason it should be causing a problem, or if there is actually a problem at all.

Looking back through almost all the files have the query that was executed and ones where someone was found with an expiring account had their details contained, so I think it's working.

The person who they claim did not get an email was a site administrator - they said he was still able to access the site, even though the subscription had expired - this is normal isn't it? I think Admin's can always access the site regardless of whether they have a plan active or not?

Hi, ThePiston
I appreciate your work on this, but I am running into a error on this line -

//leave this alone
$today=date('Y-m-d');

This is the text of the error

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/myjohnst/public_html/breeze.php on line 9

I am using Dreamweaver CS5 and it says there is a syntax error, too.

Running on latest php 5.2.5 on host Siteground.

Does anyone have an idea what would cause that? Am I missing something simple here? I am not a coder, but I am desperate to get this running.

Thanks for your help.

looks ok to me - you may want to ask your host what's happening. anyone else see a problem?

Hi ThePiston,

After dealing with a medical emergency with my husband for the past 60 days, I am back at trying to work through this problem for my client, as I see that we don't yet have an "official" solution.

I could use your help. I was able to get the script in place and I get a message the cron task is running, but I am not sure that it is really doing what it should. Where can I look to see the files that RCCheesley was referring to, showing the query executions? Would that be in the database?

Thanks for your help!
