smf plugin was created by aurax
hello, i'm using joomla 1.0.10+smf 1.1rc2+cb 1.0+joomla-smf bridge 1.1.4 .

now my problem is that i cannot integrate fully between the smf user profile to cb/joomla.

i wonder wondering if someone could code such plugin that give the ability to control the smf profile from cb.

this will make stuff alote easier for alote of us i'm sure.

thanks!

well it will be a good time to get on work :)

this is the stuff that need to be moded :

1. mod_smf_login user links (profile, etc..) are not as they sepose to be, for example:
Redirect SMF profile link to CB/CBE: not working

2. make smf read's the avatar from cb user profile.

3. == reads the user tag line.

point is that by adding such plugin there will be forum field in the registration process/user profile that user could access to @ cb frontend instead smf's

I will be willing to pitch into a bounty for this if anyone else is willing to pitch up a bounty for this project.

What I would need is:

1.) Seamless CB profile integration in SMF; click on the profile button in SMF and it goes to CB.

2.) 2 way realtime sync (with selectable option for people on SMF moving to SMF-Joomla) for user's IM and avatar to/from SMF and Joomla.

3.) Minimally intrusive, like Ortis bridge which uses a mambot and can work on separate databases.

4.) Karma plugin from SMF -> CB (could be two ways)

5.) Awards plugin from CB -> SMF (could be two ways)

Terms would be that this project will become opensource upon completion and the developers will commit to updating the connectivity if there are any changes in database calls. Further features addon will be at the discretion of the developers; further bounty offers may be offered at a later stage.

Any developers willing to work together on this?

hay,

great idea !

i was just checking phpbb plugin integration with cb (2.0.21+cb1.0stable) and it's working great.

i think that all that needed is simply a good cb plugin then a j! component.

i havent code in a while so i can't help you wit that, but i will happy to beta-testing it.
