Until I come up with a more elegant fix you can copy lines 14 thru 25, // check ... up to } ... then paste those right after the include_once for globals.php...

with RG_emulation off it is clearing out global variables... so treat this as a temporary workaround until a better solution is posted...

I had the same issue after changing emulation off in joomla.
I applied the selection above and now it works.

I Cange back to define( 'RG_EMULATION', 1 ); now, and ther is no error when i push Plugin Control Panel. But i only get new inloging on admin panel.

I think this have somthing to do with Joomla 1.0.11 and define( 'RG_EMULATION', 0 );

Now i have turn back to define( 'RG_EMULATION', 0 );
and i have copy lines 14 thru 25.

And the connector is working, without any error-mesage.
