[SOLVED] CB User Groups Not Synced with Joomla

[SOLVED] CB User Groups Not Synced with Joomla was created by ortomedia
Hi guys,

I am a bit desperate for a bit of help on this as I am supposed to be launching a site today!

I have just noticed that after a change in my Joomla user groups settings (via the ACL) CB has not updated to match this.
I have 2 groups which need access to the web site and these redirect via CB to different pages. However one of the groups isn't showing under CB...

I have tried sync'ing the DB's too and no errors seem to be found? Anyone with any suggestions or maybe another forum post with a solution that I haven't seen?

Joomla 1.7.4 and CB version 1.7.1

Sorry , working on 4 sites today and got confused!! haha...actually Joomla 2.5.3 and CB 1.7.1

You need CB 1.8.

So that will guarantee that this will then work? What is the bug and is this a known issue that I can read in the forum?

Also, if I upgrade to 1.8, can i upgrade without losing all my settings for 1.7.1?
