I have struggled with this for years and have come to the conclusion that CB is too much for me to manage. I'm stripping my website down to the bare essentials. Would you please advise how to fully uninstall CB and all associated components? Would the users still remain in Joomla?

Uninstall all CB related extensions in Manage > Extensions then delete all database tables with the following table prefixes.
_comprofiler
_groupjive
_cbsubs
Next be sure to clear out any Joomla menu items to CB as they won't work anymore.
