A few of my users are asking for a chat room,
I would want it to integrate properly with CB, rather than users having to create another profile.
I have been hunting around and cannot see any advertised.

We don't provide any chat functionality. The Private Message System included in core CB will be evolving into chat sometime in CB 3.x though, but that doesn't really help you now. You'd need to look at available Joomla solutions below.
