New CB Users Marked "RequireReset"

New CB Users Marked "RequireReset" was created by woood77
Hello, I have the most recent version of CB 2.2.1 and when we create any new users in CB they are also added to the Joomla users table marked to require a password reset. I've attached a screenshot.

Then when these new users log in they are brought to their profile edit page.

Is there a way to prevent this from occurring?

When creating new users in backend set Reset Password to No. It's default Yes at this time.

Hiya,

is this a new setting and can it be changed to 'no'?

It is taking new members to the Joomla/K2 contributor profile to reset on my site, which is causing issues.

It'll be defaulted to No in a later release. For now just set it to No when you create the user from backend. As it's a part of user params it should already be below the existing core fields and is a simple additional step. Reset Password should take them to their Joomla profile to reset the password.

Thank you for the update.

Is there a quick modification we could apply to the CB files that will default this setting to no? It's been a bit disruptive for a few customers who aren't tech savvy. If I could tweak the php until the new release comes out that would be very helpful!

This would be handy......

Also, for me, it does not go to the CB user details page, but locks people in the Joomla/K2 details - you get stuck in that page and cannot get out!
