Number of members reported in a list management

I have established a number of lists on my website, and every list has exactly the same message form:

"The Colorado Woodworkers' Guild has 13 registered members"

where the "13" is the number of members in this particular list. This is a totally incorrect statement: This particular list may have 13 members, but The Colorado Woodworkers Guild does not have 13 members. Moreover, these 13 members may not actually be registered members, so the report is doubly incorrect. The text should convey the list name and that that list has 13 members (in this case). It should read more like this:

"The Board Members list has 13 members"

Is there any way I can accomplish this?

Here is a screenshot of this "Board Members" list:

It's just a counter for the number of users that match the criteria of the userlist. It always says the sitename in this counter. As it's a language string you can use language overrides shown below to change it to say whatever you want or override it to empty if you don't want it shown at all.
