So, I have CB setup to provide profiles for users, but a confusing error has been causing users a problem.
As part of an address tab I have a Single Drop-Down selection for Province/State. When registering or editing a user profile, if the selected entry is over 10 characters (which there are many) it throws a validation error. Now, I have not setup any validation rules, due to the Parameter Validation tab not showing up in the field settings. The documentation (www.joomlapolis.com/documentation/277-community-builder/reference-guide/18438-field-management-edit) states that such a tab should exist, but it is non-existent right now.

So, it is clearly running some undesired validation rules and the back-end settings are unavailable. Is this possibly due to a missing add-on (not a base feature?) or is my installation of CB not functioning correctly? Maybe a plugin from the package? Just looking for some hints at this point. I WOULD like to set validation rules for some of the elements of the profile, so if there is a way to repair the setting tab, that would be ideal.

That seems to be exactly what happened, and has allowed me to fix the issue.
