Front End Permissions to Update a Field

1 year 11 months ago #329132 by rnevins
I would like to grant permissions to a usergroup or access level that would enable members of that group to update one particular custom field in the Community Builder database but for any other user. (It's just a single selection checkbox). I would prefer to have this done from the front end. Is this possible?

You want User A to be able to update the checkbox value of User B when viewing their profile? That's only possible if they have moderator permissions or a custom implementation. Some fields allow direct external user modification though like the Rating and Points fields. Would either of those be able to work for you instead?
