email sent before User Email Confirmation??

Hi,
How is it possible to send out the customised CBsubs integration email AFTER the user confirms his email?
The issue we are having is that someone signs up for a free plan and immediately receives the email set up for that particular plan (because it is free) - but that does not make sense since the user has not even confirmed his email address.
I have tried with all possible options in the workflow tab. But because it's a free plan the email always gets sent immediately.
Thank you,
Serge

It's not possible; we currently don't have a "Pending" state for emails to act on. Even then that probably wouldn't be sufficient as the users subscription is immediately active and activation state is fired. You'll probably need to use the incubator project CB Emails and send an email after user confirmation trigger.

But it's impossible to set up incubator triggers based on the selection of a plan. Wouldn't it be possible to just shift the trigger point for cbsubs behind "user confirmation"? This would make so much more sense. Obviously you have the triggers in place (since incubator allows to send an email after user confirmation). It's a shame we can't customise cbsubs as otherwise this could be done from our side. Is there any solution to solve this problem?

I agree the trigger points are off and we've a bug ticket in place to re-arrange the trigger points so they function more logically. Currently there is no solution that I am aware of, sorry.
