[SOLVED] Integer Type Problem... was created by neilaj
When i create a new field for (say phone# or zip code)with a integer type the number gets cut off. The phone only shows 3 digits out of the 10 and the zip code's "0" in 07896 get cut off. I searched the forum but could not find solution. Thanks.

Integer fields don't accept leading zeros. They're stripped from the value. Best approach is to use a Text field with the validation set to PERL Regular Expression. You can then use the following REGEX to validate it as a zip code.
/\b[0-9]{5}(?:-[0-9]{4})?\b/

The above will validate US based zip codes.
