[SOLVED] Layout Checkbox fields was created by sirweb
I have some checkbox fields with many options that I want to view in a 3-column layout.
How is that best done for backend/frontend edit and registration pages?
Only css in the field settings? Template?
Can you please advice?

Thanks

Are they single checkbox fields or a single multi-checkbox field? For multi-checkbox field you'd edit it within CB > Field Management then under the Global tab set "Columns" to "3". If it's multiple single checkbox fields you'll need to use custom CSS to reposition the checkbox container divs.

Thanks, I really should have noticed that myself.
I use multi select checkboxes.

However, I have long titles of the checkboxes, so there is no space between option titles in the first column and the checkbox in the second column. Where can I adjust the width of the columns?

No width is added. It should expand to fit as much content as it can, but if you've really long strings you'll probably have overflow issues. I recommend just doing 2 columns for example or adding custom CSS to break the words so they overflow. This needs to be redone with Bootstrap grid usage at some point.

2 column layout is the solution. Thank you! :)
