I would like to give users the option of hiding their online status.
I can hide the onlinestatus field using cbConditional but is there a way of hiding them so they do not show in the cbOnline module?

Install and publish CB Privacy. Next edit the online status field and enable privacy controls. You'll need to do an extra step after this since the online field doesn't display in profile edit so you won't see a privacy control there. What you'll now need to do is create a new field with the Privacy type. Next under Parameters set the Asset parameter to profile.field.26. That privacy field should then control the visibility of the online status field.
