I'm sure I'm missing something pretty basic, but I can't find how to set it. On a menu setup for CB User Profile, it displays what I have in the attached screen shot. I'm sure there's a way to make it nicer with an image or something, but I can't find it.

The CB Menu doesn't have any images for its top level menu items. Only thing that looks odd on yours is the arrow to the left of Edit. To have images next to the menu items you'll either need to use CSS to insert them or translate their language strings using language overrides then insert your HTML for your image there.
