Dropdown list with language strings

Dropdown list with language strings was created by ericmuc
Hi,
I don't want to use Falang etc. and I don't see the solution at the moment and so I have to ask:

1) I created a drop down list with some language names
2) the language names are named like "lang_english" and translated in the language overwritten tab in the plugin
3) now the language names are shown in the right language in the drop down list
4) after saving only "lang_english" is shown (not translated because it is no label)

But what can I do, that the content "lang_english" is also translated with the inbuild overwritten function? Is that possible?

Thanks, best regards
Eric

Value will never translate (what is stored in the database). Label will translate (what is displayed in the dropdown and as the fields value). Why do you need Value to translate? That should only be an issue if you're using raw substitutions like [FIELD_NAME] since they output raw stored value. Most substitution usages for display purposes should strictly be using [cb:userfield field="FIELD_NAME" /] since it respects access permission's and will process a field normally.
