Hi,

Is there a way to remove the manage action tab from my profile edit page? I do not need it.

Thanks

John

I guess if you don't need it you don't need connections - just disable connections feature and tab should disappear.

I cannot do this because I do use the connection feature. What I do not use is the connection approvals... When a user grants access to his profile to another user, access is automatically granted. No action is required on the part of the guest... This is why I do not need this tab... and why I still need the other ones to display a guest lst and a host list.

Thanks

What if someone want to remove a connection?

Or edit the connection message?

This is why the manage connections tab is needed ...

Thanks,

To revoke a connection users can simply click on the red arrow on an avatar in the connections list...

and what is the point of having the message in the tab if users do receive it inserted in an email.

Likewise, what is the point of editing the message... The message can also be edited in the connection list (i.e.: if it gets there, which is no longer the case in my install???)

Thanks :)

You can't edit the connection message or change connection type via profile tab. This must be done from manage connections. The message sent when requesting a connection is not what is shown as the connection message, that is request message seen when mouse-over the connection request under Manage Actions. At any rate no you can't remove this without core edits, which we do not support and can not help you with (you'd need to review cb.connections.php).
