[SOLVED] Create a List of Specific CBSubs Plan Subscribers

12 years 10 months ago #168457 by krileon

Would this solution work for sorting user list search results by subscription level?

No, you can't add custom sorting. You can only add custom filtering. The only way to have sorting is use CBSubs Fields to update a CB Field with what subscription a user has then sort by that field.

Could you explain this in a bit more detail? Maybe use examples with a free, bronze, silver and gold memberships?

Thanks,

You could create a text field that is set to be Read Only. Then using CBSubs Fields set that field to "1", "2", "3", or "4" based on subscription. Then order your userlist by that field (ascending or descending is up to you). I would set gold = 1, silver = 2, bronze = 3, and free = 4 however this is entirely up to you.

So the text field is created. Do I use the conditional plugin to change this? Not sure how to use CBSubs Fields to set the value. Sorry for being so thick....just ned a little more guidance.

Maybe I use the CBSubs Fields protect per subscription level to change the value?

CBSubs Fields allows you to change a fields value based off subscription. Please review your documentation on usage examples. You'll need to update a field using CBSubs Fields with a unique value to that plan; example "1" for Plan 1 and "2" for Plan 2. You'd then sort your userlist by that field.
