I went to the groupjive integration tab to use activity and it is not showing up.

Ensure CB GroupJive, CB Activity, and CB Auto Actions are all installed and up to date. Then in CB Auto Actions > System Actions publish the "CB Groupjive - Stream" system action. Should be all you need to do.

Great, thank you, that worked. Last question. Previously I had email notifications kick out using language overides on the gj wall. Is this possible to do with the activity wall as well?

There's no email notification, but it can log a CB Activity notification by enabling its partner system action "CB Groupjive - Stream Notification".
