that was my experience first time around - it didn't see new fields added after installatin ... I uninstalled it, then set up all my fields, and when I reinstalled it, it saw all of them. I have had no cause to do any more fields, so it may work ok now.

It may be enough to uninstall then reinstall, but I don't know for sure.

The other thing not tested yet is whether multiple search terms aggregate themselves, ie, as if with AND between them. Last time I tried it, the search just happened on one of the fields, and not the others.

I'm testing it now. So far so good. Haven't had any problems or incorrect searches!

I added some new fields and NO they didn't show up in the activate search fields backend... Other than that the search seems to be working. I don't really know for sure as I only have 2 real users and 8 fake ones for now...

are the fields starting with cb_? Within the script their is a search criteriy which is looking for cb_ within the fields. If they do not start with cb_ then nothing will be shown.

I have decided to change this source at my next release, but I am currently hardly at home and do not have the means to work on my components nor make updates.

Another thing is that if you are using the Hack, check the script which you have had to add to the cb source. Check for this in the comprofiler.html.php hack file

Change the jos_comprofiler_fields to #__comprofiler_fields

That might also be a reason.
