Inconsistency in options text when editing profile image

6 years 1 month ago #303100 by wbuk
When a user with no avatar edits their profile image, the dropdown options are:
  • No change of image
  • Upload image
  • Select image from your files

When a user with an existing avatar edits their profile image, the dropdown options become:
  • No change of image
  • Upload new image
  • Select new image from gallery
  • Remove image

The options in bold are actually the same, ie select image from a set gallery (specified folder on our server). Our users have said that the option "Select image from your files" sounds very similar to "Upload image", and were confused by that.

Is it possible to make both set of options consistent (ie use "Select image from gallery" as the option to choose from preset images)?

There is no "Select image from your files" string in CB. It's always "Select new image from gallery" if an image already exists otherwise it's "Select image from gallery". I'm guessing you've translated "Select image from gallery" to something else and is why you're seeing the inconsistency.
