I am struggling to create a custom cb template on CB 2.2. is there a guide I can use as help. CB Bombs out everytime I install and I am not sure if its because I copied the default template and edited its manifests and file names as a starting point. Please help.

I figured that one out as it was a class renaming problem but now I need to uncouple bootstrap and I can't find a single line in the template calling bootstrap.css . How would I remove all calls to bootstrap so I can use the joomla template's css.

Use CB Template Changer and its new Template Builder functionality. There's no need to manually create a custom CB template anymore. Check it out below.

You can disable CBs Bootstrap CSS within CB > Configuration > Integrations. Note CB uses Bootstrap 4 now so you will need a Bootstrap 4 Joomla template for the styling to work properly.
