Hiding Some Article Content For x Days After Subscription

5 years 4 months ago - 5 years 4 months ago #308756 by bins
I am trying to drip feed some content to members i.e.
  • They can see the article is there
  • when they click the article they can see some copy
  • After x days they can then see additional copy

Alternately, restrict access to article content for x days after subscription.

I can see that I should be using the CB Content bot, but cannot work out how to set it up.

FYI, this is a growing feature for internet marketers that WP seems to have a stranglehold on (in one Facegroup membership group J! never gets a mention). I can only find one other J! component that can offer this and think that making this easier or more obvious could help you secure a few new clients).

You might be able to do some limited timed released content using CBSubs substitutions. Ensure the cbsubsbot is published and public in Extensions > Plugins. Next review its description carefully as it explains how to use the CBSubs substitutions. Some examples can be found below.

Additionally CB Content Module has some timing features. You could maybe embed a content module in your article with its timing features configured.
