editing individual subscriptions

editing individual subscriptions was created by wjgadmin
there are many times when we need to edit individual subscriptions, for example the amount of payment, the dates etc. how can this be achieved? as of now i can not alter any individual subscriptions & the only way to make any changes is to the actual subscription plan itself which would affect everyone & not jut the individual.

Example #1: i have a client that has already used a week of a month whom owes that money but is waiting to pay for the full month, so i need to alter the first payment time period & price for just this individual but not for anyone else.

Example #2: after someone has already purchased their subscription, we may need to offer a discount for an upcoming payment. how can we discount one of the payments.

it would be excellent if we had the option to edit per subscription & not per subscription plan so that we have more flexibility in what we can do for the clients. as of now it is very difficult to offer them any incentives or more so, help them out when they need a change made.

Only way to do this is use CBSubs Promotions to create a negative promotion for the user that'll increase the price.

Note editing a users subscription record won't do anything in regards to what you're wanting so don't tamper with database or CBSubs > Subscriptions expecting these results.

interesting, thank you for the advice. i will use this going forward if i need to increase the price etc:)
one question for the promotion.....is there a way we can alter one of the payments instead of all of them.
Example:
i have a client that is subscribed to a monthly recurring payment $100 (example)
that member purchases a new product & i wish to discount their next months payment
to $50. is this possible to offer them a discount on their next months payment that is already active?

Yeah, you can make a promotion that's 1 time use.

is this possible to offer them a discount on their next months payment that is already active?

No, not unless it's manual renewal so they go through the payment process again and can input a promotion code.
