Hiding Upgrades Plans

Hiding Upgrades Plans was created by ghog
I have created two plans which are both free subscriptions and I would like to make each plan unavailable after one has been chosen.

Currently both plans are avaialble and when a user subscribes to a chosen plan the other is still available.

Ideally I would like to hide all subscription options after the first subscription has been chosen, is it possible to do this? I hope so:huh:

Just set that "not upgradable" in plan's workflows tab :)

yes that is what I thought but that hides the plans from view all together. In my case I am not publishing the plans at registration but rather making them available as upgrade options for all existing members.

so by selecting "not upgradable" hides the plans from view. what i really need is a way to hide all plans after one has been chosen as an upgrade option.

is this stretching the functions of CBSubs?

There is another setting added in CBSubs 1.0.1, "do not spontaneously offer upgrade", that's probably what you want. Please check 1.0.1 manual for details.

yes I did try that but it does not work either. from what i can work out if these plans are not available at registration then it can't be done the way i need.
If I select: 'No: Hide this plan from upgrades' in 'Propose spontaneously plan for upgrades'
for plan A it is still available after selecting plan B. If I select the alternative then the plan is not available to select in the first instance when no plans are selected at all.

It gets even more confusing to explain but out of all the configs I have tried it is just not possible to have x 2 plans available (excluded from registration) and then limit availability to only choosing one plan or the other.

If I am wrong I would really appreciate some direction on getting this to work in this way.

Hide on registration
Do not allow upgrade
Set exclusive

Do the above settings for both and this should give you the results you desire.
